  • Pam Picard has extensive experience as an Executive Producer and Producer for broadcasts, digital, documentary, and live events on all media platforms – network television, cable networks, and digital outlets.  She has produced over 120 broadcasts and livestreams largely centered around music and lifestyle programming.

    Pam has credits as Executive Producer and Producer on CBS, Bloomberg, Ovation TV, HBO, PBS, A&E, USA, FX, local Boston stations WBZ-TV, WCVB-TV, WHDH-TV, NECN, and several production companies in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles.

    She is currently the Executive Producer and Event Director of the “Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular,”America’s premier Independence Day celebration with the Boston Pops.

    Pam was the former Director of Media and Broadcast at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. During her tenure she built the first-ever media department and a control room within Symphony Hall in Boston, bringing media technology and a digital production strategy to this long-standing cultural institution.

    Pam is a three-time Emmy Award winning producer for “Special Event Coverage” by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Boston/New England. She has also won four Telly Awards.

    Pam earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of Arts and Popular Culture for “One Symphony, Two Orchestras,” a PBS docu-special highlighting the collaboration between the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra during the Covid pandemic.

    She has also won two New England Press Awards for her journalistic work, and writes for both unscripted television and fiction.

    Pam has served on the boards of Club Passim, one of the oldest music venues in the country, as well as the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She has a Master’s Degree in Media and Visual Studies from Emerson College.

  • Bright Blue Media Group started in 2020 by offering production advice to arts and cultural organizations struggle to engage audiences during the Covid 19 pandemic.

    During this time Bright Blue used media expertise and technology to produce millions of impressions for organizations around the world.

    These elements were the building blocks for the company today, which remains focused on strong story-telling, media strategy, and efficient production.
